Here, you will see projects I have completed at the University of Houston. These projects have allowed me to elevate my skills professionally and personally. Through these experiences, I have gained skills and tools to work collaboratively, productively hear constructive criticism, build relationships, use communication tactics, and much more.
Brand Awareness Plansbook
The challenge this museum faced was getting new audiences to their museum. Through extensive research, my group and I found a widespread lack of awareness about the museum's location. Our analysis included Surveys shared through social media, interviews, SWOT analysis, 4C’s analysis, and secondary research, which provided valuable insights, leading us to develop our strategy and formulate our advertisements for the most effective and long-term impact.
Through this project, our class had the unique opportunity to present our findings and campaign to the CEO, VP, and event coordinator of the Lone Star Flight Museum. This experience elevated my skills in market research, strategic planning, and effective communication, showcasing my ability to contribute to successful brand awareness initiatives.
Social Media Audit
This social media audit was completed by three of my peers and me. The company we chose was Kohl’s. We researched their current social media platforms and responded to questions provided to us by our professor. Additionally, our research provided insights to develop four recommendations that could benefit Kohls's social media, considering key performance indicators such as ROI, budgets, conversion rates, and engagement metrics.
This project elevated our skills in social media analysis and demonstrated our ability to translate findings into actionable strategies for enhanced online visibility and audience engagement. This experience improved our social media analysis skills and showcased our ability to translate findings into actionable strategies for enhanced online visibility and audience engagement.
Sales Proposal
Throughout the semester, we engaged in practical sales activities centered around a business-to-business, consultative approach, utilizing a consistent buyer profile. Our assigned company, Fortinet, tasked us with assisting Michael, the proprietor of Charlie's Custard. Key components of the project included crafting an Elevator Pitch, initiating a Cold Call, conducting a SPIN Needs Assessment Role Play, developing a Sales Proposal, and delivering presentations on features, benefits, and objection-handling strategies for Fortinet. The project's culmination involved creating a sales proposal, seen below, showcasing my strategic approach and recommendations.
